You Want Fries With That?

Just a quick post tonight:  I forgot to mention that Matt got a job recently.  Hooray!  In today's economy, we'll take what we can get.  He has joined 1.5 million other people who work at McDonald's.  Seriously, there are over 31,000 Mickey Dee's worldwide, and since Matt has received the official training, he can now work pretty much anywhere in the world.  It's nice to have that to fall back on, right?  Anyway, I'm pleased that he got something to help sock away some pesos for school and a mission.  Plus, I think this work experience will be good for him. . . great motivation to stay in school.

In completely unrelated news, Happy First Day of Spring (yesterday)!  It has been a wet, windy, snowy, chilly, hail-riddled season, and if we don't get a nice day soon, I may hop on a flight to Hawaii or some other tropical location.  I think we've had about eight hours of balmy weather thus far, but I'm hopeful that we're going to see some sun soon.  The following pictures were taken just a few days ago.  Enjoy!

I hear composters work great in cold weather.  Too bad our lid blew off in a windstorm.
